I don't believe it's due until near the British Open. There's talk he may skip the even altogether if the baby is close to popping out (instead of getting the pager like Phil did in 1999).

I don't think Phil or Tiger will win.
My guess this year's winner will be foreign. Henrik, Ernie or Retief.
Long shot, Ben Curtis. He has surprised me after his Open win.

Troy Matteson is getting his first shot this year. I think that makes 3 former Yellow Jackets: Matteson, Cink and Mize.

don't forget Vijay. the emergence of CH3 will certainly create a buzz again

I think Ernie's game is on the way back. After the layoff, EE might be a little hungrier. Lately, he has been playing better.
Then again, my endorsement might be the kiss of death.

Local radio station has a PGA Tour caddy on some times. (Believe he was Payne Stewarts)
Last year he predicted Phil to win using the two drivers.

i'd love to see Ernie win and get back in the mix; he needs a boost as he seems to have been just floundering about as an also-ran for a few years now, the knee notwithstanding.

Mike Hicks from NC was on the bag when Payne won the US Open at Pinehurst. Payne played in a local tournament the next day at Mike's home club.
