After all, when Wake Forest claimed (with absolutely no proof) that somebody at the RBC made a classless comment about Chris "the crotch puncher" Paul's grandfather, Barry Saunders of the N&O did a nice little write up taking our fanbase to task.
I'm positive we'll see a similar article.

She's just one jerk in a sea of mostly good folks. Every arena has them. No reason to castigate the entire fanbase. I do honestly think if this happens at State it gets blown out of proportion though.

^^^ Thank you, Ghost. That's exactly what I was prepared to say but you beat me to it. One fan's remark should not tar (no pun intended) the reputation of the whole school or their fans. In a crowd of thousands, there is ALWAYS at least one jerk and that goes for every school in the ACC.
What I saw was a hard-played game by both teams and far fewer mistakes than MD usually makes. The Refs allowed them to play and there were few touch fouls called. The missed call at the end of the game was not the norm and I give the Refs good marks for the game.
Whoever said that NC may use this game to re-focus could well be right. They now know that they CAN lose and should work harder to ensure they don't lose again. Time will tell.
One idiot should NOT be used to define an entire fanbase. And I think Wolfpackers everywhere are sure that's EXACTLY the message Barry Saunders will try to get across in his upcoming column!
Had the exact same thing happen in Raleigh, there would have been a big editorial about how Wolfpack fans are racist. All it takes is one thing taken out of context and boom!
I, too, congratulate the Terps on a great win, and a fine coaching job by GW.
There's no question that one fan's remarks should not taint an entire fan base. OTOH, the Pack fans are absolutely right: if that had happened at RBC, IC would have been having a field day with it.

A little of nothing, don. At least on the premium side. I think most of them understand that it's about a bunch of nothing.
