"Lak-Di," literally translated "walking stick," and my Grandfather's nickname for me as he would use me as one during those rare occassions when I knew him. He lived in India and I only knew him a few times (3 visits there, and one for him here). Sorry, but it's a fond memory for me and the first thing that came to mind reading "walking stick."
