Duke Junior Chris Sanders, a member of Duke's swim and dive team was found dead this morning in his room in Kilgo Quad. Very sad thing to happen to a very fine young man from all accounts.

I could not imagine being at a school like Duke and swimming. Those kids are at it early in the morning and later in the day. Hours upon hours of pounding laps. When they have time for class and study is beyond me. Sorry to hear this. My son is a swimmer and swimmers are great kids. They learn so young what it means to set goals and how it feels to achieve them.
What a tragic situation. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family. I could not even try to imagine what his folks are going through now.

terrible news. unfortunately there have been a couple of suicides in my family. i get especially sad to hear about kids who find themselves so lost. chemical/emotional imbalance is a lonely, dark place.
