Okay, what's happening here? My Milwaukee Brewers are in the pennant race for the first time in three decades and NOT ONE GAME is on network TV?!? All the Tiger/Ranger games are on Fox TV but the Brewers/Cards games are all on basic cable TBS?!?!

WTF!!!

These two teams hate each other. There is trash talking back and forth between Milwaukee and St. Louis all the time. There are possibly three MVP players in this series. Tony La Russa is about the most stuck up hated manager in baseball. The Brewers are about as cocky as you can get with Beast Mode. What's not to love?

...full disclosure, I got rid of my cable months ago, so I'm especially ticked off about this. Guess I'll just have to listen to Uecker on the radio, which isn't a bad thing. He is AWESOME!!
Wojo, I am a huge Cards fan. You need cable to get these games. Sorry.

Show me a better manager than Tony this year. Took a banged up line up missing Wainwright into the playoffs!!

Time for some smack talk.

You want a better manager? Try "Rags." Imagine having to manage a team with the mental disorders of the Brewers. My God, we have at least three guys that should be in a mental institue. Morgan has mulitple personalities. Betancourt is insane. You'd have to be to swim from Cuba to America. Gomez' sanity is hanging on by a thread but at least he can speak English. Fielder has been hit by so many fast balls (most of them from Card pitchers, btw) that he should be in a straight jacket by now.

Yet they all work like a well oiled machine, because Rags is at the helm.

That sad offering is your "tips for smack talk"?

I doubt that most are by Cards pitchers. More like he cannot get his walrus'esque ass out of the way of a breaking change up!

Alright fine. Here are two facts about a Brewers/Cards game.

1) La Russa will complain about some implied slight to his honor by a Brewers player. After all Mr. I-wear-my-sunglasses-at-night is the final arbitrator of good manners in baseball.

2) La Russa will tell his pitcher to bean a Brewers' batter. Period! Did you see how La Russa reacted when Carpenter beaned Braun in the first inning of the game? Come on. Even Jean-Claude Van Damme could have done a better acting job.
All right Duke boy. How many managers have won a World Series in each League?
Although I will say Wojo, to your original point I do not understand the huge hype for the Rangers-Tigers series? Ours has so much more character, but when you watch the news it is as if we are not even playing.

Go figure.
