Dang it. This makes it all the more easy for jws to stop me from questioning him.

I don't care to stop anyone from questioning him. I just want folks to think their criticisms through a bit before launching.

I'm all for constructive criticism, so long as the person doing the criticizing bears in mind that the odds are stupendously low that he/she is right and Roy is wrong on any given basketball issue, especially as it relates to the team that Roy recruited, that Roy sees every day in practice, and that Roy knows the strengths, weaknesses and personalities of far, far more intimately and thoroughly than any of us do.

I'm just messing.

And we all know that I'm a far better coach than Roy - just less discovered. Â

On the subject, if Roy decides to stay in the game for 30 or so years, he'll shatter the all time wins record - even though I don't think it means as much as some do. You won't find a bad coach challenging it, but comparing accross eras (not to mention schedules) and the many longevity factors that can affect the ones all time wins make it not as important as other accomplishments IMO.
