You like brews? What are your favorites/least favorites?
I was a huge Guiness fan after traveling to Europe. Now, I can't go wrong with Sam Adams Boston Lager. What say ya'll?

HOT weather. HOT, HOT, HOT, weather and an ice cold Heineken.
Currently I'm into Red Stripe. When I'm on the road, I'm looking for Fat Tire, and Leinies. I really miss Foggy Bottom out of the DC area.
Fat Tire is good!
I was a heineken guy when I traveled in Europe. It's just not the same to me drinking it in the states.
I like Red Stripe too. Lately my fav has been Hoegaarden with a slice of orange.

I'm a member of the Taco Mac Passport Club, so I've been trying all sorts of beers. Really like Highland Gaelic Ale (out of Asheville), the Sam Adams Cherry Wheat is quite refreshing, you can't go wrong with a Harp, and Shipyard Pumpkinhead Ale is the single finest beer I've sampled (can't wait till fall to get some more!).
I can't do beer. I'm out...
Like 2003, Heineken is great in Europe, but ok over here.
Having just moved to Salt Lake City, I am amazed at their quality microbrews, what with the whole LDS thing. Currently drinking Provo Girl and Chasing Tail. Polygamy Porter is very good also. As you might imagine, the brewer enjoys poking fun at the LDS crowd.

Actually, I am not that big of a beer drinker, EXCEPT in HOT, HOT weather. The dead of summer is the only time I truly enjoy beer. Then, it has to be the "Heinie" and TOTAL ICE COLD.
Before I drank Heinekens, I was a serious "Moosehead" drinker. Which I can't stand now. The older I got, the more bitter and horrid Moosehead got.

Nice Names
In no particular order.
Guiness, NewCastle, Old Speckled Hen, Bass, Sam Adams Boston, Negra Modelo, and some dern brew I had at the Carolina Brewery that night I hooked up with a soccer hottie.

I remember her name but not the beer. Both tastes are will stay with me forever.
Brew of choice.... "Float the Bass Ale on the Guiness Stout." :beastieboys:

Kicking back with a Fat Tire Pale Ale as we speak.
And yes, let's do the Time Warp Again.
Flashback...
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. If you like hoppy, this beer is it.
Hmmmm, so many beers and so little time...
From Mexico: Negro Modelo and Superior. Corona doesn't do much for me.
From Oz: Really like Victoria Bitter, but it's not easy to find here.
From Japan: Love me some Asahi Super Dry, Kirin's good too.
From the Brits: Lots. Really like Boddington's.
From the Belgians: None come to mind actually - something about that taste.
From the Caribbean: Like Red Stripe okay, but like Belikin better. There's also a good one from Trinidad whose name escapes me at the moment.
Hereabouts: Concur on Fat Tire, Enjoy CPA, Abita Turbo Dog is good, like Pyramid's offerings, and have really been loving some of the stuff from Raleigh's own Big Boss Brewery of late with Surrender Monkey topping the list.
Best named microbrew I've heard of, but not tried: "I'll have what that man on the floor is having Ale" (from Florida I think)
I'm doing the Atkins thing so good beers are pretty much out, because a good beer is about 16+/- carbs vs. 3 in a Busch Light. depending on the multiple that can be a big difference
but when I have one it's generally a pilsner or ale style such as
Pilsner Urquell
Spaten
Carolina Pale Ale
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
a little bre pub in Winston Salem has some good beers - Foothills Brewing. I've had them in a few restaurants but can't find them in a store
My friend is a salesman for Sierra, so I just wait for him to bring me a free case of whatever special edition run they have out. They are all incredible. He also got me free tickets to the ACCT and an invite to a hospitality suite where we drank free beers and ate free food before the game.
He is swell.
I like everything mentioned here, pretty much (at least the stuff I'm familiar with) but what I really miss is Yuengling, as I can't get it in Korea.
Tipping a Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA to the board... Good stuff.
DH is a homebrewer, so Atkins is a lost cause here.
Gotta have Guinness. PomPomGuy swears by the Murphy's Irish stout. We really liked the Sam Adams Noble Pils that they recently had out. A few others ... Hofbrauhaus Maibock, Paulaner Oktoberfest Marzen, Chimay (red or blue), anything by Christian Moerlein, Great Lakes Burning River, and, well, a whole bunch of others I'm blanking on right now.
Paid a visit to the Hofbrauhaus in Munich last week. There's nothing quite like a big ol' Mass of Helles accompanied by a plate of bratwurst and sauerkraut.

Don't fret. I can't get it in Ohio. I do, however, have access to the Great Lakes Brewery, and it's a treasure. I think their beers have only just begun to infiltrate the east coast.
Had some Leinenkugel 1888 bock this past weekend as well. Smooth.
Shiner Bock. One realizes one is old when their daughter recommends a brew.
Also love them thar English dark brews.
@waynehead: go have some soju. I was introduced to that in Korea.

Hofbrau kept me going in the desert last year, until I could return to the microbrews of California.
I've been drinking New Belgium's, Mighty Arrow, a pretty decent seasonal pale ale.
Mama, I've had more than enough soju to last a lifetime. To last several lifetimes. I try to avoid it as much as I can nowadays.
