Let me add that with Duke's victory Monday night, there has been a couple of equations posted by many, with an affiliation with faded-blue sports, related to National Championships
They are; 5>4 or 6>4
But there is a new way of viewing these mathematical statements…
Mike Krzyzewski = 4
Dean-o Smith = 2
Huckleberry Roy = 2
Frank (Gamecock) McGuire = 1
1924 Helms Foundation = 0*
So given the above values;
Coach K > Dean
Coach K > Roy
Coach K > Frank
Coach K > Dean + Frank
Coach K > Roy + Frank
Coach K = Dean + Roy
* The 1924 Helms Foundation championships were awarded after a panel of “experts” met in 1936 to declare champions in college sports.
