Kept the big trophy in the ACC for another year. Way to go guys. That was a really great game and Butler showed they should have been there.
My heart hasn't started beating again.
I'm as wired as a teenager on Red Bull!
Fair warning to all...Now, I plan to be absolutely insufferable to deal with.
GO DUKE!!!
God I love this team!
OMG, I am still shaking here. Wow
GO TO HELL, DOOK!
I foresee a back injury in your future....

^ Now?
That was a truly great game. Wish my Pack could play D half as well as the Dawgs.
F em. The ACC got a pass on this year.

Hell is in Chapel Hill; Duke is on the podium with the big trophy.

you can't post just "wow"
so, wow
what are the odds Calipari goes to the Nets and that kid is coach of Kentucky in a month?

Thanks Son! I'm still jittery. That half court Hail Mary reminded me of a couple of shots Duke made to win in the last seconds. I agree: the trophy stays another year in North Carolina.
As much as it pains me I have to give a hearty congratulations.
This team was as blue collar as Duke will ever be, and the championship is all the sweeter for it.
I am impressed. Sickened, but impressed, and glad that such astounding success resides just 8 miles apart.
Congrats Dookies!
Gotta admit I was pulling for the underdog but
fate was on yalls side this evening.
I'm sure there will be many who disagree but I think this was one of the most objectively likable teams in recent memory. Granted, I like 'em all...
So happy they pulled through against a VERY tough Butler team. Go Duke!

I wouldn't bank on the latter.
Oh, BTW--- congrats Duke. ACC > Big Least!
Congratulations Duke! Whether folks like him or not, Coach K is a great coach and now getting up in the league of Rupp, Wooden, and others with championships won by a single coach. Not only that, he has done it over an almost 20 year spread since the first title.
Not too shabby. I dare say he has one or two more up his sleeve before he steps down.
Since '74, the ACC has won what 11? 12? Titles? That's slightly less than one third of the national titles in the last 37 seasons. Name me one other conference that can come close to that.
The ACC rules. Good job Duke.
Okay a few hours after Duke won its 4th National Championship. What a thriller and I have to say I that my heart sunk when the Butler player tried to throw a miraicle shot up and almost went in. Those were the few seconds that was like in slow motion. But it rimmed out thankfully. But congrats to Butler and their coach what am amazing run they had. Now going to celebrate today. I just love this team they have no real superstars on that team not like the past Champions Duke team. But this season they played with all heart that is why I love this team so much. Now later on today going to re watch the game on my DVR. Go Duke.

I wouldn't bank on the latter.
why?
he has to realize he's the best young coach in America and he doesn't need to take just any major job, like Oregon for instance, or NC State. He should wait for a job on the scale of Duke, UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, maybe Indiana or Michigan State. Odds are Kentucky is the only one of those opening up any time soon and he's a few hours away. That said I'd love to see him at NCSU
Congrats Duke! Great game!
Congrats FANS of the evil empire. I love YOU ladies and gentlemen. And that was one HELL of a game!
Now it's back to hating that program with a passion...
Good for the ACC and for lower seeds. Great game..!
I think Duke as a program having been to the Final helped in their preparation, and gave them a edge over Butler. Butler is a very, very good team!
At least last year UNC actually WAS the best team in the country. That at least made them winning it tolerable.

Yes but this time I'll be doing it with t-shirts, sunglasses and tiny South American flags while singing show tunes at the top of my lungs.
I feel pretty
Oh so pretty
I feel pretty and witty and GAY!!!
...probably should have picked some other song given my right wing nutjob tendancies.
Ah well.
Nice to have the trophy stay with the ACC and the State of North Carolina. Good for UNC to be associated with winners. Somehow, the stars of eleven other teams rose a little last night, too.
