It'll be interesting to see if anything comes of this. It's puzzling to me why the major news organizations wouldn't be interested in the story. Surely something this big is news worthy... if it's actually true.
It's kind of odd that there is supposed to be an effort to cover up a market fraud that involved a hit and run, and a massive crash of a media firm's computers, but somebody can post a story about the alleged fraud on You Tube with no sweat.
Nothing to see here....Tin Foilers. [/accboarddrippingelitism]
It MUST be true. There are youtubes on it AND multiple articles at cult-approved websites!!!!111111111111!!!!!
if we have learned nothug else from the last several years of banking disasters we should have at least learned that investment bankers of all types, which woud include gold, are the most sophisticated thieves ever known man.

if you've learned that then the next thing is that governmemnt will be forced to either replace what they steal or let the global economy collapes.

then after you've learned that you might see that government won't do a dang thing about it, and in fact if Republicans get the chance they will makes it easier for them next time around
One of the problems with the wingnut websites is that occassionally, they get one right. Say about 1% of the time. As they say, the sun shines on every dog's behind once in while. But we are so use to them being wrong, that they are like the boy that cried wolf.

Not that I am saying they are right in this case, but one of these days they will be right about some crazy conspiracy theory, and if they are, lord knows we will never hear the end of it.

There's the answer, folks. The Dems don't want to have another financial scandal on their hands so this will be ignored until it can be blamed on Republicans. And, of course, the MSM is in the pocket of the Dems. Why didn't I think of that? Rolleyes

maybe, but I would say it's more like bankers will wait for another R admin or congress, use them to grease the, uh, wheels, and then bend us over again. it just happend twice in a matter of 20 years, both times at the end of both 8-year R admin's (with a big assist from the contractors on America), just by mere coincidence of course. watch, it'll happen again

LOL, finding new ways to show your arrogant a$$ everyday.
Maroon.

Quote:The bombshell GATA dropped at the public hearing held by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission on futures trading in metals was stunning. Video of GATA Chairman Bill Murphy revealing a whistleblower source who warned the CFTC's Enforcement Division about market manipulation by JPMorganChase and witnessed JPM traders bragging of their exploits can be viewed here:

Quote:Murphy explained that even though the Enforcement Division received detailed information about it in December 2009, the manipulation continues unabated, as can be seen by the way gold was taken down last week to rob holders of April gold call options in the strike range of $1,100-$1,150 as the hammering made the options expire worthless.

GATA believes that this new evidence will prove to be a "smoking gun," a watershed event in liberating the gold market from price suppression.

Wow, I am surprised and can actually say I agree with on these points.

The Pubs have not made it easy to defend them. However, IMO Both parties are to blame.
to some extent, but the deregulation or deliberate non-regulation of the most complicated and dangerous instruments, which the average person has never even heard, of are a result of R action or inaction, and occured on their regulatory watch, which is a executive function.

if anything, regulators under Obama are making it more difficult than necessary for banks, commercial banks at least. I don't underestimate investment bankers' capability to cook up oderless crap that no regulator would sniff out though
It does seem odd that the mainstream media aren't even testing the waters on the biggest case of fraud in the history of humanity...

I know. He posted more Youtubes of a guy who is a head of an activist nut fringe conspiracy theory organization whose quest is to expose the manipulation conspiracy in gold markets making wild allegations and unsourced "quotes" from other cult member websites talking about how this is the "smoking gun". The Truth is out there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All part of the fiat currency conspiracy.
