Yay, I get to post again. I had to change my user name. As I forgot my PW. I know I could click on the link forget your password. But I finally got Verizon Highspeed on Thursday. When I cancaled my dial up provider. I transfred everything to my dial up to my highspeed. I thought I written down the ACC Boards PW. But I did not, so I had to re register. I love Highspeed, I am finally out of the dark ages.

Have fun - it's amazing how fast stuff loads. Fire up Mozilla for real speed and using their Ad block add-on to stop the ads that pop up on so many pages. It'll be like lightning
Tell me about it. I am on FB and I play the games as well talk with friends and family. I could fold laundry, let the dogs go potty and vaccumm the house and when I got back the games would still be loading. Same with uploading pictures and downloads. It was so painful. I am glad that Verizon made it out my way and offered it, Now everything moves so fast everything uploads so faster now. I even can watch video's on You Tube now. I do have firefox, I had that for the past few years. So its my main browser for highspeed.

Goldie, feel better--I don't have 100 mps! That's offered, but my plan is only 20 mps. (That's still fast enough to instant stream high definition movies.)

I know sadly. I was in the dark ages for a long time. I finally got into the 21st Century on Thursday evening. Oh the joys of living out in the country. I am going to change my dish service over to Direct TV so I can have Verizon package deal. I already have the highdpeed of course then I got their home voice mail. I just need to call Dish and cancel service and then call Direct TV. Then it will be 94.99 a month for this package deal.
I too know the pain of dialup. It was only last year that we were able to get high speed internet.
I think the prez's stated priority to get broadband accessibility to everyone is laudible. It's like rural electrification and getting phone service everywhere in the 20th century. These days if you don't have broadband you are seriously hampered from connecting to the internet.
