Fall of Carolina hurts Quality Win /SOS factor-- then, I thought they creeped into Top 25 before being blown out @ dook, but either way, that Loss knocked them down a bit before the current win streak which has separated them from the mid-conf pack.
It's a sad fact of life for the other ACC teams that if Carolina and/or dook is down, they will also suffer for it, UNLESS they have some real marquee wins, which Alaska really doesn't.
Their RPI is decent--

No way, COY will be Roy. He's had it tougher than the folks in Haiti and still managed to go 5-10 in the ACC with only 7 McDonalds AA's.

Hey relax everyone, we should take no offense beyond that which should be conveyed towards any man of the dark (blue) side, and I do believe these guys are of a tolerable sort. Good to have you dookies stop by--seriously. I regret to inform you, however, that I have officially declared all 2010 ACC basketball games played prior to this point null and void. In other words, IT'S ON! Many years from now it will be so funny when we can all look back and laugh about the year UNC goofed around all season, then won the final game @ Cameron (aka Hansbrough's House), swept through the ACC Tourney, and won the NCAA championship again...you know it's gonna happen.

maybe I don't understand since I didn't have the advantage of taking any math or statistics courses at Carolina, but 7 is a majority of what?
Seriously, as a Terps fan, I have had no issue with their ranking or non-ranking through the year. Most of the season, they've had a non-descript resume. No good wins until recently, but no really bad losses (even W&M,though losing that one at home does make it suspect).
I'm not ready to award POY or COY just yet, but I like both of your choices. Are both of those "regular season" awards?

Hey, me neither, i'm a bloody English major.
More wins against 200+ RPI, than any other 50-team RPI tier.
P.s. one can hardly expect pollsters to understand tha W&M is a pretty good team. Thems didn't go to no college.

I couldn't watch most of the second half -- couldn't stand to see Dook possibly win, couldn't stand to watch Vasquez. If he played at dook, he would be the most hated player in the universe.

I think Vasquez is Fun and he's certainly improved as an all-around player & his last shot in that game was a thing of beauty.

That's a good analysis, kid. I admit that I haven't followed the ebb and flow of UMD's season very closely - I just looked at their overall record and thought it looked pretty decent.
