Let's not start with the whole referee thing. UNC tried to close the game out by hitting three and got away from working the ball inside. Threes are fool's gold. And threes will break your heart like faithless woman.

It came down to getting away from what got us the lead. Good looks, and not pounding inside. All I will say about that is that Thompson3 made one Hell of an adjustment.
We were killing them, and the foot came off the throat. Too bad. But a great season nonetheless.

Agree on Danny taking two very ill advised threes. Hibbert fouled out a number of times. Plain and simple.

Bad three attempts but if one, just one, of those go down we are talking about a dagger. Shoulda, coulda, woulda, when it comes down to it we did not get it done at the end. Not suprising for a young team.

They stretched the game out at least a minute for G'town. Run the shot clock down on those possessions and they're cutting down nets.

One field goal in a 10 minute span, and we win. It didn't happen. And it is a fact that CRAZIER things than that have happened in sports.
We reload with hopefully more experience next season. Nobody should have their head hanging.

I thought we'd lose to tOSU anyway, but it hurt to witness this loss. Hurt bad.

Thanks for mentioning that AllBiz - I only heard about what's going on on IC when I peeked over at PeckerPride.  Read that it was in total meltdown mode.

If we were a clear cut #1, I'd say some of the frustration is justified, but we were a loss or two away from being a #2 seed and G-town was the best #2 seed in the tournament and a very favored pick to beat us.  We are also a young team.

Just hope that the core stays together and that we can get some contributions next year from Graves and Alex Stephenson.  I also hope we can get some consistent outside shooting (ahem, Ellington and Green) because without Reyshawn and Wes stepping up all year and hitting big shots, it's going to be a struggle to win games without it.

Not trying to be too negative, but I am stunned that Frasor and Thomas play four minutes combined. That is not using the depth you have.

Lawsons fatigue was huge down the stretch.
