I'm still thrilled about the comeback last night and I'm anxious for the game to start, yet I have to wait another 14 hours. aaaahhhh I'll be a nervous wreck all day and useless for Mrs. Sanford. Not that I'm ever of any use to begin with, but at least now I have a valid excuse.
Anyone else just chomping at the bit?
Thanks. Between reading that and everything Terry had to say about Billy Packer, I'm really fired up. I live in the Dallas area and have been a huge Mavs fan since their inception and they play today at noon CST, so that will help pass the time away until tipoff.
Got a brother in Rowlette(SP?). On the lake.
I live about an hour north of Dallas, so I probably a good hour and a half away from your brother.
I'm sweating bullets ... this is when I get tense, when the team gets to what I thought was a "reasonable" expectation and I thought Final 8 was a reasonable expectation, everything else a possibility.
I think I was this nervous about the '93 team in the Final Four game v. Kansas. In '05, I was this nervous in the NCAA Final.
Once my stuff in the washer gets transferred into the dryer (about five minutes from now), I'm heading to the store for additional fortifications. I'm sure this game is going to warrant them.
