Backcourt and Wings: Improvement overall for Lawson, though he's still in the doldrums. Ellington is sinking but he can't go much lower...the good news. Thomas continues with a good set of arcs, alas, his time will likely be brief...but if not then expect good work. Frasor has heart and little else. Ginyard matches Bobby's fire and adds smarts and Wes Miller remains on the upswing. Both Ty and Ellington fought through the bad arcs to have fine games (Lawson especially).

Frontcourt: Terry remains a smart man and antibiotics permitting should be a star for this game. Wright is the other frontcourt star. And star he will. Hansbrough does not have much to work with this afternoon but the Planet X Express runs right through Poplar Bluff...I wouldn't bet agaist him. Deon Thompson appears to be "vien listo" or more than ready. Bank it Baby. Danny Green remains, like Ellington and Lawson in the backcourt, surrounded by Zeros. Stepheson still sits the end of the pine primed for action.

Overall: The Hoyas have nice arcs. The Heels do not. Probably the most troubling is Thompson Jr.'s out the roof Intellect mark. Again for the Tar Heels the puzzle will have to necessarily be fitted perfectly. And likely someone, or several someones, will have to play roles beyond the call for Carolina to win. And the Tar Heel Nation will have to "Go where you go, and do what you do" from the very start of action.

Another bleak scenario and a monumental challenge. Unlikely heroes? How about Deon Thompson, and Ginyard once again? And I never bet against Danny Green.

Grab the old T-shirt, don the old sox, and break out the Pisco.

Q and Wes have decent arcs as well ... perhaps they'll come in and make a play or two ...

Planet X time ...

Quote:my CBS colleague, Billy Packer, is not impressed with Terry. In an interview this week with New York's WFAN radio, Packer called Terry soft.

"Terry, in my estimation, has always played soft," Packer said. He later added: "There are some guys that know how to play hurt and there are some guys that don't."

When I asked Terry his thoughts on the comments by Packer, Terry responded: "Anyone who thinks I'm soft doesn't know s--- about basketball."

"He has his opinion," Terry said of Packer. "Billy Packer has been around the game long enough to know better. Soft? That's foolish. It's offensive to be called that. I try not to let that sort of stuff bother me but I will say that if Billy Packer played in my day, I would bust his ass. It would be a massacre."
dOmed.
DOOMED
Damn. Well, it's been fun. Woulda been nice to make the final four...
Quote:...if Billy Packer played in my day, I would bust his ass. It would be a massacre.

If we remember Reyshawn Terry for nothing else, it should be this quote. This should be on t-shirts for all our fans attending the game, and any future UNC games Packer works. Awesome!

Despite the biorhythms, Packer's comments will fire up Reyshawn, and he's taking over the game.

21 points for Reyshawn, UNC by 12.
I remember when the brackets were announced many of the so called experts had Georgetown winning this region. Of course, many of those same experts had the Heels losing to Texas in the Sweet 16. I was surprised to see the line at 3.5 because I thought it might be around a 2 point spread.

Outside factors unrelated to biorhythms most certainly need to be taken into account...this here bulletin board pin-up material for example a la Packer

The Folks over at Merch most certainly need to get on this one...

Somehow I forgot to post Coach Thompson's Wisdom arc...it was an 85
He looked less than that 5-6 minutes in.
These bio's of yours are scary good, don! I appreciate you doing them.
Thompson had a lot more wisdom than Roy on this day. I think there is something to these charts!
