YOu know, the refs really suck. Did you see the end of the Vandy game? GT guy with a blatant walk at the end and no call. Oden just dunked, pulled himself up, slapped the backboard and no call. The refs suck. Suck I tell ya!

No way I can do it justice by trying to explain it. Fortunately it  will probably be on YouTube pretty soon.

But basically, the Bulldogs were down 7 with about 45 seconds to go. A couple of turnovers and missed foul shots by Winona St. result in Barton tying it. Winona St. inbounds with about 7-10 seconds left. Barton strips it around mid court with about 3-4 seconds left. The Barton player is dribbling towards the basket as time is running out. He takes off for the layup...and with literally .01 seconds left, the ball leaves his fingertips, bounces off of the glass and rattles home.

Barton wins. What made it all the more incredible is that Winona St. had won 55 games in a row or something.

I live in Austin and Austin is a lot nicer than Durham, that's for sure. Just sayin'.

The lead story on Sportscenter tonight shows highlights from the last 30 seconds of the Div II championship. Wow. I actually watched a few minutes of this game and am now kicking myself for not staying in and watching the end. Damn these beautiful spring days.

I'm so happy for those guys. One of my closest friends played soccer for Barton back in the day. I always pass close by the campus on my way home from D.C. to Jacksonville.

Absofreakinglutely awesome.

My best friend is a Barton alum, happy as a clam for him.

Barton is the talk of the town the last few days. Hell of a run by the dawgs.

Celebration today in fornt of Wilson Gym from 4:30-6:30.
