dr. nycfan and I want to claim credit where credit is due ... down 15 or 16 in the second half, we went our separate ways and willed our team to win... seriously, it was ALL US.
I watched on TV with volume muted (watching Pink Floyd on PBS during TOs) without moving except to change channels (I WENT DRINKLESS AND BATHROOM VISITLESS FOR THE LAST 13 minutes of GAME MINUTES PEOPLE) while he listend to Woody out on the porch. FTR, a call from my bro-in-law with 60-some seconds left in the game was the first time I freaking moved after the go where/do what decision was finalized after UNC's horrid start to the second half. Statuesque and thirsty and tense I was, I tell you all, but it was worth it!
Proper attire ruled the day in Casa Bosco. When Woody called it at about the 17 minute mark I went and got my bottle of Pisco Capel and poured a glass. I'm still sipping on the last drops.
I'd like to note that the Trailwalker called me twice during the game the first time to say that he had read the biorhythms and just in case had put his most lucky sweatshirt in his car.
He donned the rag himself around the 17 minute mark.
He called back after the victory was sealed as well.
I know this is going to sound strange, but I had the crazy feeling that the reverse mojo was going to do the trick tonight.
So, anyway, I'm dogsitting for my mom this weekend, and I was left strict instructions to put on the UNC collar for the game.  When we got down by 16 tonight, I pulled the collar off in disgust and went back to her usual (USC red) collar.  It seemed crazy at the time, but that was definitely the turning point. Â

I turned the computer.  Got a cramp in my foot so I took my shoe off so I could stretch my foot.  Did not move after that until the game was over.  One shoe off, holding my other foot, no bathroom breaks and no drinking.  The wife offered to go get another beer but when I explained the current mojo she understood.  To her credit she woke up just before the run and refused to go back to sleep since we started turning it around.
i sat out on the patio watching the cats, while my dookie friend kept texting me that unc was going to win, take the whole thing. all in all a damn good week.
I thought this team was done & that I was the reason for it.
I always wear something UNC on gamedays.
And even if I don't fill out a tournament bracket before the games start, I always keep track & fill it out as the games are played. So what happens? For the winner of the USC/Texas game, I wrote MSU. I just new I would bring the most & baddest of mojo on the Heels by having a writing error. I had been dreading this game all week.
I'm doing everything I can think of to reverse that feeling for the rest of the tournament.
Me, myself, and I was/were out inthecountry with friends.
we had woody on but the vibe wasnt quite right
one dookie, one ndoter, four diehard heels and too much chatter
I split at halftime to do what you do and drove 9 miles to get to the casa
got completely focused as the missus is at the beach with the girls for the weekend.............
ergo..... me, myself, and I controlled the outcome of the heels most excellent win tonite!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and you thought that the dark one was drunk
go heels, life is berry berry goode
After my third seat change, and turning my hat around, I didn't move either. nyc, I'll compromise with you, and say you guys karma was the biggest part of a joint effort!
this was obviously a team effort, but i must say that my part would not have been there if it wasn't for don bosco.
GO HEELS! DOT COM!
I went to bed and taped the game. Sounds like it was a stomach churner.
We watched at The Cave, which may have been part of the initial bad karma as we have watched all other games at home. Plus we were with a "new to watch the game with" group of Heel fans. No Ga2Me, Don nor Boone. Game finally turned when I left the cramped couch in favor of sitting on the cold floor. And I was wearing my "only when I watch the Heels on TV somewhere besides home" UNC Chuck Taylors with UNC laces.
Here's hoping I have to break out the UNC silk wrap skirt to wear with the shoes. (For those of you who didn't see me on the last UNC National Championship night-you wouldn't believe how much I was dressed like a TarHeel! It was craxy, I tell you!)

THIS is good mojo I tell you.

Oh and I have to add: Mrs. DSH started playing in an Omaha tourney during halftime. She won it with about ten minutes to go in the game. She then declared that for the good of the team, she would play another. We started our run and she proceeded to come in second.
A poker playing genius that understands the mojo. I do not deserve her.
