I just heard on the weather channel that most of the country will be in a massive storm system. Thunderstroms to the south, snow and ice from the great plains to the midwest and through the Northeast. Guess when its suppose to hit for most of the country? Thursday and Friday figures.
Anyone have a map or is it to early? I want snow no ice for Indiana. Give me snow or rain anyday over ice.
I was planning on traveling to Conn. on Christmas Day and now, I may leave a day early.
Mrs. T is driving to Cincinnati Wednesday. Looks like she'll be dodging the weather events.

BDF, we're supposed to get freezing rain and then rain on Thursday followed by snow on Christmas Day. Bet you'll not be much different.
my poor mom, not only was she to drive from durham to vermont this week, today she fell on ice in the driveway and broke her right wrist. now step-dad has to drive, will take them a lot longer.
Right now they are looking for Freezing rain Deterp also. CRAP. But its still early it can still change to snow. Give me snow, give me rain, give me floods over ice anyday.

That sucks mama! Ice is 10 times worse than snow! Hopefully, your parents will take their time and have a safe trip.

Oh no! M, that's awful. I worry so much about my Mom for this very reason. I've fallen on the ice (not recently) and cracked a tail bone courtesy of the hard fall. Dangerous stuff.
