Backcourt and Wings: Ginyard, if truly uninjured (rhythms don’t take injury into account…maybe a bruised psyche), should be stepping up. In a big way. And Drew will be right behind him about a half-step. McDonald and Strickland respectively look smart and physical. We probably need the latter more…I think they’ll be another Dexter Dunk this afternoon. Graves is very unexcited but otherwise solid. He’ll help. Henson will defend well, perhaps even taking over for a spell. Watts will also contribute.
Frontcourt. Deon and Ed show friends starring Ed. A fearless Zeller compliments the duo. Deon joins Ginyard in leadership visibly for the first time. The Wears will provide sparks.
Overall: Speed Game. They want to go faster than we do! And they’ve got a duo, Bradley and Bablay that can fly. The former is the points man while the latter the disher. Good to see low numbers for James but Pittman on the other hand is out the roof. If the pace is like expected Pittman may not have the opportunity to really shine like his arcs indicate. If he falters for any reason and Wangmeme enters the game…watch out. Kai Lucas’s first game…he’s excited, over-excited. The coaches cancel one another but since Roy starts off smarter there’s an edge. I like the overall smarts and the passion is stable. Heels by 5 in a very good basketball game. Or Heels by 14 in a sleeper.
