I certainly hope so because it's been a LONG time coming. This creep should never be able to hold any kind of public service office ever again. I'd like to see him in an orange jumpsuit myself.

I rode by the infamous house on Buchannan Saturday. All the houses around it are getting a "make over" but that one still looks the same. Hopefully the school will give it a face lift as well after the dust settles.

i heard this morning on NPR that the case is moving forward! did i mishear something, not seeing it on cnn, drudge, nytimes online...

I have learned from this too. From now on I will go to strip clubs only rather than hiring strippers for private shows. You can never be too carerul.

They will give him some sort of repremand and make him promise to be a good boy.
Basically, he will slide completely on the whole thing.

My instincts on this tell me that there are witnesses - fellow lacrosse team members - who will describe criminal activity by the defendants. I don't believe the prosecution would persist only in the face of the testimony of the two dancers.

It was never very hard to imagine what went wrong that night; the devil (pun intended) was in the details and getting them all straight, something which it seems Nifong failed utterly to do.

It was a simple matter of financial greed. He needed to be re-elected and serve a few years to qualify for a life pension. He should not be allowed to profit from this abuse of prosecutorial power.

I prefer to see him disbarred and impoverished. Then we need to create a word for the dictionary, that being "nifonged" defined as improper prosecution of a criminal case for personal gain.
