Some folks in my section were giving them the "Inverted U" with their hands at the end of the game. That U gesture is about as stupid as the Wolfpack wolf sign. I'm okay with the tomahawk thing from FSU for some reason.

I have a strange relationship with Miami. My personal interest is that our daughter looked there for undergrad and we made a family trip to visit the campus. They have strong programs in areas of interest, but she decided not to attend.
Then years later when Miami was vying for entry into the ACC, I spent some time on their board following stuff. It's funny now, but for some reason Carolina and State posters got into a pissing match and I became involved. I was actually banned from the Miami board concerning some comments about State.
I protested to a mod and worked out a deal to keep posting. Later I met that mod in person as well as the #2 guy in charge of their web site. We became very good friends and still are. I tailgated with the Miami fans at Va Tech and at UVA. They are a die hard group and were a lot of fun to be drinking with.
I have an open invitation to any game in Miami but have never been.
They obviously cherish football and now having their former coach seems kind of odd to me, but that's the way it is.
My daughter started college in 1994, so my connection to Miami dates back to then.
