That last loss we had to dook was 2003, and we lost by 8, not 21. That was in the throws of a 2-10 season (with wins over Wake and ECU, so if we won that we would have had a shot at being the State's best, right?). This was supposed to be a top notch NC State team this year, right?
The N&O has spent all year pumping you guys up and putting us down even at 3-0. It'll be funny to see how they spin your loss this week.

Has nothing to do with "swagger", ghost. My initial reaction was disbelief, followed by amusement at the impending writhing and gnashing of teeth we knew would ensue. Y'all didn't disappoint, either. I saw no less than 150 demands that O'Brien/Archer/Jethro Fowler be fired. Epic meltdown like only n.dot can deliver!

I hear Ndoters are starting another letter writing campaign (WTF is up with that stuff anyway) to solve all their problems.

ftr: i am roundly and soundly opposed to all 1-AA games, and 2 in one season is beyond awful, for Anyone... i think they should not be taking place at all (with the possible exception for a "transitioning" team, like WKU), there are 2 divisions for a reason, IMO.
dook certainly seems to be improving, esp. given the last 2 weeks' results. A win over Army, IIRC @ Army, is no huge deal, but it's still a step up for dook.
cannot understand the complete inability of Skate to stop them from scoring at will, tho'... that doesn't sound like a TOB team to me.. injuries? If that trend continues and our trend of no "O" continues, that could be one super-ugly game at year's end. Not to mention the very real prospect of ....egads, i just can't bring myself to type it even.
I am going to come out and just say that the unc game will be our bowl game this year.

Archer is in the same boat as John Shoop, so to speak.
Nate Irving's loss has a much bigger impact than I think most State fans can recognize.
The depth behind him is so-so (untested).
The secondary was a big red flag in the off-season, however the local media (in particular the N&O and 850 the buzz) seemed to dismiss it quickly, especially after the strong 1st game showing and the FCS tuneups.
Wilson has played well, but for some reason, those INT drops teams had last year aren't being dropped and teams are starting to figure him out a little. However, 21 (7 were on ST) points and 24 points the last 2 weeks should be enough to get it done.
It's only half-way through the season so long way to go. They (and we!) could still turn things around.
Of course it doesn't stop me from getting a Chuckles over the fans.

While you're in a conciliatory mood, you might also admit that if any of us posted the same things you do on an ndot board, we'd be unceremoniously banned. Then you can thank us for granting you a degree of freedom of speech which the Cro-Magnon NCSU fan base would never allow us.

speaking of which...at one point I was at packpride minding my own business lurking and reading the posts about the UNC opener when someone made fun of the Chapel Hill TouchDowntown campaign. I simply noted that the town council had also requested that the football team gain more thean 153 yards and score more than three points. Now I expected the karmic retribution that was the uva game for that, but the banning seemed a bit much.
Can one of you Mods intervene on my behalf, or tell me how I might contact their mods directly to seek reinstatement? I could see maybe a week ban on general "we hate holes" principles, but a permanent ban with no way to contact them seems overkill. Thanks.
I do like ACCboards generally both for the relative lack of dumb statements compared to really any individual school-based board and because we can weigh in on other's boards. The banning or simply not approving seems to go on on many of the boards actually - tried myself once years ago to post at InsideCarolina and was denied.
The board with the least 'itchy trigger finger' mods seems probably to be the Terp board I'd say. They're a pretty pugnacious bunch over there though and seem to relish mixing it up.
Lastly, seems this should be 'OMG part deux!!!!' after the way our Pack was drawn and quartered in Chestnut Hill yesterday.

Hate to tell you this ww, but I don't believe the ACCBoards moderators have anything to do with packpride. There isn't a more thin skinned, inferiority complex ladened group in the ACC community. Either toe the party line or be banned immediately. If you let on that you're a "hole", you're done - simple as that.
You've learned a lesson. I go over there just for comedic value, but never post.
Go to the Scout FIU board.
A bunch of NC State aholes went there spewing some homophobic tirades and other nonsense against UNC.
