The hatred for Duke continues. I've heard all the bs about "Duke is done" and I pray this continues(the predictions and talk). Just several years ago folks/sport's writers & commentary saying the Heels were done.
So....let the talking heads have their day. Payback can be sooooo sweet.
No "terping" here. We simply played very poorly. I give Butler credit for making us play their tempo. The charge on DJ at the end may have been a bad call but to tell you the truth if we would have played better that call doesn't matter. I think we missed 8 freethrows or something like that. I don't have to look for any other faults beyond that. Oh and FTR I was sad to see the Bluedevils lose too, but by all means let the blanket statements resume. See you next year.
It was a poor game plan, poorly executed. Butler played better, and won. So be it!
But two wins over a Duke club was not too difficult for the Turtles to take this season; that is something.
In fact the Turtles also did not lose to a team based in North Carolina. I doubt that happens again in my lifetime!
