I've seen quite a few begrudgingly respectful articles from the dookies. As i've always said, through the hate, there's an underlying respect that can't be measured and it goes both ways.

Other fans base(s)? Hmmm ... not so much.

that stopped me for a second as well. those losers don't know what smarmy means. i'm trying to think of a single time the rat WASN'T smarmy.

screw the dookies. they have simply run out of excuses. they can't say Roy did it with someone else's players (2005). They can't say that the other team made a mistake and handed it to us (83 & 93). They can't say that if they had our road they could have done the same (they lost to Villanova and we killed them). They can't say our players are thugs. They can't say we got lucky because the average victory margin was doube digits the whole tournaments. So now all they can do is shut up or admit what has been in their face all along.

AND we did it without the articles concerning attitudes and playing time vis-a-vis McCants et al in 2005.

what the...did you punks read the final paragraph? dude, read the final paragraph! it clearly states in a most unambiguous fashion that the whole point, the most salient feature, of the UNC victory in March of aught nine was to confirm that Duke is good.

Here's how much dook sucks. Even tho we've been more dominant of late, even tho we just kicked a$$ in the tourney and knocked cinderella out, even tho we apparently destroyed a state's economy, even tho we have a "smarmy" coach (let's face it, there's some truth there - Roy refers to himself in the 3rd person waaaaaaay too much), even tho the Evil Empire is back and it's donned in light blue...the entire country still hates dook.

Everyone hates you dook. Winning, losing, back spasmy, floor slapping, it doesn't matter what you do.

Well, maybe instead of a rat, K look like a smarmoset.
